Ike always fudges on the age thing. I guess it's cool to say you were in FZ's band when you were twenty but if Ike turns 60 in November that means he was born in 1955. He says his first tour with Frank started in June of 1978. That would make him 22 when he joined the band. Just striving for accuracy here, folks.

With utmost respect, one of the most awesome musicians I've ever seen "they're pretty good musicians" lol "all I ever wanted was to play guitar like reetuteetuteetutee" Saw Ike with Zappa Joe's Garage Tour and took my son, who grew up to be an awesome drummer/composer, when he was a kid in late 90s, to see Project Object at the Fox in Atlanta. Ike has always been such a unique wonderful talent who also seemed to be a very nice guy.
